Just two tips and an in the works project
Wow,, I havent written a post since the first of April.. days are just really busy lately. I have a project in the works but no pictures to post yet. I"m working on turning a gun cabinet into something similar to this ..
And if you are like me and are constantly getting grease spots on your clothes.. this dry shampoo works wonders at removing them. I wish I had taken a pic of the shirt before/after.. but I promise it worked. I just held the bottle about 6 or 7 inches above the spot and lightly sprayed and rubbed until I couldnt see the spot anymore. Ill be keeping me a little bottle of this around.

But i've only gotten as far as taking the door off and the gun holder slots on the inside,, and I did a little bit of sanding and priming. Hoping to be able to work on it this weekend.
For now i'd like to share two things or tips that I discovered this past week...
these little hangers make great chip bag clips (or any other kind of bag)

And we simply cant have a post without these two,, They are growing so fast,, 7 and 4 mos already.
Have a good day.

Cement Paver Flower Pot
(this post was written a few weeks back,, I thought I had hit publish but I guess I didnt).. Enjoy!
I've been wanting to make these for a long time. I first saw them in a Lowes booklet that came in the mail. Of course I didnt have the instructions with me at the store and forgot that the bottom was suppose to be a bigger paver.. but we glued the small one to the bottom and I like how you can't see it,, plus there is just a bit of a crack on both sides that allows for drainage.. I wished I would've thought to take a few pictures of the building process but I didnt even think about it. The gray spots on the sides are where we put a little bit too much of the glue and it seeped out,, but it can either be painted over or left as is for a bit of character. I dont have a green thumb at all so we'll see if this thing survives. I loved the color of it.

We all worked outside Sunday and I worked on my little flower bed. Im hoping to add some actual flowers to it soon.. Just a lot of green stuff right now. My Easter lilys that I dug up from Jeff's grandmas house last year are coming back and I cant wait to see them in bloom.
While we were taking pics at the railroad tracks I found these two pieces and laid them together to make a cross.. I had intended to bring them home and mount on a piece of wood/board ,, but I forgot them when we left.

For now Ill just post some pics from my phone,,, BEWARE.. all about the babies these days. And we love it.. Blessings from above no doubt.

26/52 in 52 update
An update on my 52 week list..
#6 - Participated in our first walk on 1/28/2012. Me, Mel, grandgirl #1 and my sister Stephanie walked in the Hot Chocolate 5K.. we got there about 15 minutes late (the walkers had already started) and all the runners passed us more than one time. It was really cold and we probably only went about halfway. But at least we got out and walked and made a donation to the Rankin County Schools too.
#10 - see both of the grandgirls several times a week and usually at least once on the weekend. They are growing fast
#11 - Jan 14th went to Randy and Kelly's house in greenwood and finally went hunting with Tyler. We went in the afternoon and only saw a couple of does. I am very scared of heights and get really shaky when having to climb any height at all. The stand was only about 6 or 7 ft off the ground and I had no trouble climbing into the stand,, climbing down was another story all together. So glad it was dark so nobody could take a picture. Jeff had to stand right at the bottom of the ladder and help me put my feett on the so called ladder rungs.. But I did enjoy that time with Tyler,, I will definitely go again sometime.
#14 - Had a health assessment at our work clinic and know that my healthy weight is around 150,, I have about 16 or 17 lbs to lose to get there. (better start working harder on cutting out those Sonic drinks and drinking more water )
(comments turned off for this boring post ...lol )

Ruffled lace headband and the Delta
Looking forward to a nice little two day getaway to the delta this weekend. Going to Jeff's brothers house with our 3, the add-on, our nephew and the babies. Plus I think their son and new baby will be there too. All the boys(and maybe some girls) will be hunting and hopefully killing something as nice as this.. weather is suppose to be perfect so maybe so.
(pic of Randys deer swiped from Kellys facebook)
All I'll be killing is time,, spending lots of it with these two sweet ones. And hopefully get to see baby Brady too.

Anxious to get started on sooo many projects I have in mind.. maybe one day real soon Ill get around to that.
I found this tutorial today over at I Heart Naptime and Im hoping to make a quick stop at walmart and make both of the girls one of these this weekend. These are the cutest little headbands for babies.
And the little girl modeling is just precious.
